District Conference in Kuala Lumpur

TRANSFERS DAY!!

Hi guys! How are you? I’m doing very well. So, I’m sorry for the late posted this transfer week. I should post it on that September (23. September. 2014) but I forgot. Ayyo. We went to the elders house and waiting elder Misa’alefua to picked him up at his house. Lamanya! We were at their home but elder Misa’alefua still inside. My mom brings elder Misa’alefua some fried potato and some banana (Black banana) then elder Misa ate all of fried potato. He want to eat the bananas but then I say that is Tambi banana and then elder Misa don’t want to eat that (just because that is Tambi banana) hahaha!
We were arrived at the airport then we lift his things. We waiting for him till his gone and then we tried to find the elder who will replace him. That is elder Smith but we couldn’t find him. When we on the way back from the airport we saw elder Smith. He just gave a HI sign. Then we headed to Farley café and my dad asked elder Jahali and elder Dailey to join us at the café. We were arrived at Farley Café at 12 o’clock and got lunch together. I bought one new tie and it was very cheaper. We had done lunch, elder Jahali and elder Dailey off to Pintu Gerbang and waiting for me. My dad went to the elder’s house and took my bike there. We met with the Smith’s there. I headed to Pintu Gerbang Sibu and met with elder Jahali and elder Dailey. Our 1st appointment at 2 o’clock and we went to sister Lina, brother Thomas and sister Betty. We talked about baptism (The investigators). At 3 we went to sister Daum and brother Nyambong house and talked about the first lesson (the investigators). Then, we went to brother Ngelambai hostel and talked with him a little bit about Joseph Smith. We were there like 40 minutes. We went to Lanang again and met with 3 girls and they want to talk about the gospel. We just stayed there like 30 minutes. At 6 we met with Sister Evelyn and brother Michael was there. We were there just a few minutes. Brother Michael follows us at 6.30 and we went to brother Dana. We talked about the first lesson (because the elder got 1 new investigator there) and about Joseph smith. Elder Jahali asked me to read about Joseph Smith in Iban. Then elder Jahali asked Brother Dana something and elder Jahali made a explanation about Joseph Smith but then Brother Dana told us something “Wah! That white man can speak iban better and very good pronunciations.” Then we laugh and I say “I’m not the white man, I’m iban too.” He was thoughts that I’m a white man ha. I think that because of my hair was blonde. haha We moved to the inactive members and talked a little bit and introduced ourselves.
I was ride bike to the elder home and leave my bike there. My dad and mom were there like 10 minutes before I got there. When I’m home I think that is the best experience. I can help the elders, I can teach them who want to learn the gospel, I can help them to understand better with my testimony, and I can feel the spirit touch my heart to be a kind person.

District Conference in Kuala Lumpur.

Hello! I’m back! So last week (November 5^th) I went to Melacca for 5 days. Melacca is very cool but there had a lot of monkey. What?! Before I went to Melacca I got called from elder Isberto and asked me where I come from but he was transfer the day I arrived at Melacca. OMG! I’m tried to sms to elder in Melacca but they have no responds for a few days. I need to contact to the AP (elder Lundquist) to get them and also I tried to sms elder Toney (the elder who was finished his mission) but elder Toney also forget the address. Adoh! Finally I call elder Pun and talk with him a little bit how to get the church in Melacca and all done. He told me to ask president Tan for help. President Tan told me to ask brother Sim or Tennysen to get the Church this Sunday because we are staying in the same area. I called brother Sim and he said he will help me to get the church this Sunday but this Sunday we have district conference in KL. Yaaayyy!!

Sunday (November 9), brother Sim picked me up at 7.05 at home and for sure we are late. 7.40 we just arrive at the point we should meet but we miss the bus and we got them by call then they will wait for us in Ayer Keroh Plaza Tol. We just use the maps to get there.

These was happened :

7.50 - We arrived at the plaza then we went to KL by bus.

9.20 - We were arrived at KL.

9.30 – I meet with elder Kavapalu, Hays, Smith, and Misa’alefua. (dia malu lah! Kenapa? Mungkin dia gila.) I asked elder Wright to guide me to get the toilet but he also has no idea. (Emergency suda mau PEE) then he asked me to asked the Indian guy by my left. They can guide me but they just use SIGN language to guide. (Straight-Right-Straight-turn- and TOILET). Wahhhh! Pisshhhhhhh. When I back and sat in the middle, sister dess called me then I turn back “Lawren come over here! This is our elder (Cocs).” (I don’t really know her name, but she is nice women! I mean sister Dess). I sat over there and after a minutes then elder Mix saw me. “What? What are you doing here?” he said and then I say “Are you serving in KL?” and we talk a lil bit la. I saw so many people come from around the world to attend the District Conference in KL. There was wonderful!

10.00 – The district conference started. I got sms from elder Misa and ask me to sit with them but can’t lah. It was too late. DC suda start suda.

12.00 – District conference was over.

12.30 – the president asked us to go to downstairs because we have no idea for ym or anything. Sister Irine Siew who was in Sibu before still remembered me! OMG! But I forget her. We talk a little bit. She is friendly, kind and carrying. She told me “If you have one more chance to go to KL again just let me know, I will find you!” then I say “Oh okay! I will if I’m come to KL again!”

12.50 – 1.30 – spending times for selfie. Haha.

2.00 – we went to KLCC with the young man and young women. (Took some pictures)

3.00 – the bus arrived and we just wait for the elders. We are heading to Melacca.

4.30 – we stop at Seremban and pulled out all food in the bus and eat. I talk with sister dess, samanta, flora and more. I couldn’t remember well their name. They are so friendly. I miss them them thou. Before that I think that we will buy some food to eat there on SUNDAY but I was wrong. We’d food in the bus! OMG!

5.00 – we were done. (Selfie) and we get the bus.

6.00 – we get the car (brother sim and I).

6.30 – finally home.

Oh! I have very good trip in KL and have good experience to share.

P/S: When I went to KL and Melacca. I learnt so many things in this experience. What so wonderful trip huh? I saw the members in Melacca so friendly and I have learnt how to serve each other, love and more friendly. There was so many things come out in my mind: Serve each other, love, happiness, friendly, and so on.
